The policy provides coverage for loss or damage during the construction of residential or commercial buildings. The insured is also provided with indemnity against claims of third parties in respect of death or bodily injury or damages to third party property arising out of completion of works specified under the specified construction contract.

Similar to Contractors’ All Risks, this type of coverage pertains to the indemnity associated with a contract that involves machinery erection, plant construction, storage tanks, pipe works, electrical installation, etc.

This type of coverage is designed to cover computer and related equipment (it is not designed to provide coverage for individual home PCs) within a business environment but can be extended to cover the items outside the insured premises. Coverage is provided on an all risk basis.
